I have a Panasonic Viera TX40CX68B. I want to connect my external powered speakers that have a long wire with a 3.5mm male mini jack on the end to the TV's single 'Digital Audio' port. I want to buy an adaptor to plug into the port with a female 3.5mm on the other end. However, I am having great difficulties in describing this adaptor on the internet, especially with Amazon & Ebay. I'm pretty sure my stereo speaker system does not have an ARC facility to allow me to plug into HDMI 2, (ARC).
I know what my 'Digital Audio' port looks like from my operating instruction manual, but how to name it is the problem.

Please help.
